Stereotypically, I’m not creative. I work with numbers. Profit. Loss. Hopefully more profit than loss. That’s probably true, when it comes to work. Work is not all of me. In addition to Gifts Grandpa Gave Me (the book of my grandpa’s poems), I’m also in the editing stage of a science fiction novel, and finishing the first draft of a comedic novel. I’m also a trombonist in a community orchestra and learning to play guitar.
I believe (or maybe hope) that thee creative outlets also help me find more creative solutions to things at work. If not, that’s OK. They are a lot of fun, and help me become a more complete person.
What’s your creative outlet?
