With recent tragic events (regardless of when you read this, there probably have been some, even if only that N’Sync are on tour), I thought a post of dumb happy stuff is in order.

First up, a picture of a dog that seems to be smiling. It’s cheap, it’s manipulative, it’s an animal picture.

Next a happy song: Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) by US3. The song is peppy, somewhat incomprehensible, and the video features a trumpeter, a guy with a cane doing the splits, an accordion player, and a boxing ballerina. What could be happier than that?

Third, some positive facts to combat the irrational doom and gloom we hear every day.

Fourth, a picture of a happy baby. Because if Monty Python has taught me anything (and it has), it’s that children and animals can sell anything.
