It’s been longer than I intended, but here are my STUPID goals for the year (you do remember what STUPID goals are, right?).

1) Volunteer/Get to know people in the non-profit sector. I’ve always had the feeling that non-profits and community groups can be tremendously powerful. I’d like to figure out what role I might have in making a non-profit a little more effective.

2) Throw a shindig: Speakers, poets, musicians, artists – You want ’em, I’ll have ’em at one giant event. This will bring together people I know from different circles, which is always fun.

3) Try stand-up comedy. Self-explanatory. And terrifying.
